On Thursday, September 14, 2022 – the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross – Family Renewal Project will host our 3rd Annual “Fully Alive” Banquet!!

Our guest speaker, Father Adam Potter, grew up in Pittsburgh and is blessed with amazing parents, five younger siblings, one niece, and one newborn nephew! When Father was in 7^th grade his mother had a reversion to the Catholic faith. As her faith grew so did that of her husband and their children; paving the way for Adam to become a priest and her husband, a permanent deacon (ordained in 2020).

In 2016, Father was ordained as a Priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He now serves as the Parochial Vicar of Mary, Mother of God Parish in McKeesport and White Oak, as Chaplain at Serra Catholic High School, and Chaplain to the Pittsburgh Courage Chapter that walks with individuals experiencing same-sex attraction.

Father studied at the John Paul II Institute in Rome and is passionate about promoting the Church’s vision for marriage and family.

Father is part of Dry Bones Ministries, a non-profit seeking to aid evangelization efforts in Pittsburgh; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Camp and Retreat Center, a summer camp for youth; as well as Pittsburgh Pure, a full-stop site for best resources on issues & questions related to the Church’s teachings on human sexuality.

Doors will open for a social hour at 6pm (cash bar); the program (including a delicious dinner) will begin at 7pm and we will adjourn no later than 9pm.
