Join the growing cohort of friends\, teachers\, catechists\, and other church leaders as you learn what it means to discover your story. Our three Pioneer Courses cover Discover Your Story Levels 1-3: The Wonders of Genesis. Understanding Exodus\, and The Purpose of Christmas. This is the beginning of FRP’s flagship discipleship series\, guiding us through the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and to the truth about our unique call to love. On June 2\, 8\, and 15 at Holy Family Catholic Church\, Family Renewal Project invites  all teachers\, catechists\, & other adults to experience this journey with us! During our time together\, you will: renew an awareness of the dignity & beauty of the human person; experience a deeper appreciation for God’s creation; explore the gift of Wonder & Awe\, Understanding\, & Counsel through the lens of Theology of the Body; and discover your story through the mystery of God who became flesh. \n \n\nFacilitator:\n \nJohn Sohl\nJohn is a graduate of Western Kentucky University who loves hunting\, fishing\, hiking\, theater\, videography and playing baseball. \nAfter discerning the call to the priesthood\, John transitioned from seminary to the role of discipleship leader in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Some may say “youth minister\,” but after five years of dedication to youth\, John realized that developing disciples was the ultimate goal. \nJohn has attended & led pilgrimages to the last 4 World Youth Days: Madrid\, Spain; Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil; Kraków\, Poland; Panama City\, Panamá and he and his wife are planning to attend together this year in Lisbon\, Portugal. \nFor over six years\, John served as the only male chastity instructor in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Every school year he & one of his female counterparts would teach a multi-day course at over 40 schools (Catholic\, private\, and public). \nJohn is now the first and only person in the Archdiocese of Louisville to have completed his Master’s Certification in Theology of the Body from the TOB Institute … a major accomplishment! \nJohn married his wonderful wife\, Crystal in October of 2019.
