THIS RETREAT IS AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY\, NO ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED.\nLCW invites women throughout the Louisville area to set aside a Saturday during Lent: Arise & Come…\n\nDate: Saturday\, March 15\, 2025\nSchedule:\n8:00am — Optional Mass in the Chapel\n8:30am — Check In\n9:00am — First talk will begin\n3:15pm — Retreat ends\nLocation: Holy Angels Academy (12201 Old Henry Road\, Louisville\, KY 40223)\nCost: $15 Registration; Lunch and Snacks will be provided. \nArise & Come\n“My lover speaks; he says to me\, ‘Arise\, my beloved\, my beautiful one\, and come! For see\, the winter is past\, the rains are over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth\, the time of pruning the vines has come\, and the song of the dove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth its figs\, and the vines\, in bloom\, give forth fragrance. Arise\, my beloved\, my beautiful one\, and come!’” (Song of Songs 2:10- 12) \nSomething stirs in our hearts when we hear these words of breathtaking beauty. Who of us does not yearn to be the beloved\, the beautiful one? Yet we hold back\, wondering if these words were really meant for us. What is it that holds us back\, and how are we set free to enter into the fullness of life and love these words promise? \nAdoration and Confession will be incorporated into the retreat. There will be an optional Mass at 8am prior to the retreat. \n*Nursing infants welcome. \n\n\n\n \nRetreat Speaker: Sister Gabriella Yi\, O.P.\nSister Gabriella Yi\, O.P. is a Dominican Sister of Saint Cecilia from Nashville. Originally from Seoul\, she grew up near Philadelphia. Having received her Doctorate from the Angelicum in 2013\, she teaches at Aquinas College. \nIn addition to teaching theology\, Sister loves giving talks on the spiritual life\, leading retreats\, and arranging flowers. \n  \nQuestions?
