Walters Avenue Hodgenville\, KY 42748\nCost: $20 per person or $30 per couple/Household. FREE for college students\, missionaries\, and clergy. \nFRP is very excited to take this course on the road and provide an amazing experience for the good people in Hodgenville\, Raywick\, Howardstown\, New Haven\, New Hope\, Loretto\, Holy Cross\, Lebanon\, and all the surrounding area! We hope you will join us! \nThis course is perfect for adults in all stages of life — including: the 20 somethings in relationships and dreaming of marriage\, the young spouses who are trying to understand how to be family as God wants them to be\, the parents wanting to know how to talk to their teens about purpose of life and relationships\, the parents who want to know how to present a counter-culture view of the body and “gender” to their kids \, and the people who have heard the words “Theology of the Body” and always wondered what that really means. \nDo you wonder  . . .  \n\nHow do I live my life in a way that will bring true happiness? \nWhy do I have all of these desires in my body? … in my soul? … and what am I supposed to do with them? \nWhat does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be a woman?\nWhat does it mean to be human?\n\nThe culture—the world we live in and that our children and grandchildren are growing up in—is utterly confused about the answers to these questions!  \nFor such a time as this\, we have been given (and you have the opportunity to receive) the great gift! \nGod Himself took on flesh—He became a human person\, a man\, a body! Our bodies matter: in fact\, they tell a divine story!  \nJoin us to discover your story\, your identity\, and your true purpose!  \nThis consolidated crash course\, starting on Friday evening and ending on Saturday afternoon\, is an ideal solution for those who aren’t able to attend consecutive weeks due to work\, family obligations\, travel distance\, etc. \n* Nursing infants are welcome. Mature youth 12 & older are welcome with parents discretion [youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian]. \nCourse Overview:\nThis course is an excellent introduction to the teachings of the Church known as “Theology of the Body” and will provide a solid understanding of God’s plan for humanity. Using the Ascension Press series An Intro to Theology of the Body: Discovering God’s Master Plan for Your Life (an 8-part study that we have consolidated into a weekend crash course)\, the interactive course will include time for reflection\, discussion\, and prayer. \nThis opportunity is for every “body” who desires to reach his or her full potential in this life and become Fully Alive — young\, old\, single\, married\, parents\, empty-nesters\, clergy\, and religious!  \nParticipants under age 18 may attend if accompanied by parent/guardian. \nRegistration:\nRegister by completing the form at the end of the page.\nIf registering as a family\, choose Couple and complete the fields for the first two people\, then add remaining names and information in the Comment/Questions box at the bottom of the form. \nRegistration fee includes Handouts\, Snacks\, and Drinks throughout and a Continental Breakfast on Saturday. To be a “servant of the secret fire” is about being a real man\, a loyal friend\, a good brother\, a faithful husband\, a loving father. It’s about going on adventure\, not being afraid of the wilderness dangers because of the strength of Christ supporting you and your brothers. \nAll our fraternities\, small groups\, fellowship nights\, and times with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament have been preparing us for these incredible opportunities to encounter Our Lord in a unique time and place – in the great outdoors — alongside other great men growing in virtue and fortitude. \nIf your father\, uncle\, brother (in-law)\, adult son (in-law)\, or best buddy is able to join you\, invite him/them! All images will be used without payment or other consideration and will become the property of Family Renewal Project. \nRETREAT LEADER\, Fr. Ben Cameron\, C.P.M.\nFr. Ben Cameron was born in Kokomo\, Indiana\, and grew up as a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. During his junior high and high school years\, he attended a small Christian school that was operated by a local Baptist church. It was in that non-Catholic environment\, where his faith was often challenged\, that he began to study the Catholic Faith. \nFr. Ben is a 1991 graduate of Christendom College\, a small Catholic liberal arts college in Front Royal\, Virginia\, where he became involved in a lay apostolate known as the Legion of Mary\, which awakened his desire to share his Catholic Faith with others. Upon receiving his degree in Political Science and History\, Fr. Ben planned a career in the political arena but soon found that God had other plans. He joined the Fathers of Mercy in 1992\, studied theology at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell\, Connecticut\, and was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on May 31\, 1997. Fr. Ben has served as Vocation Director\, Treasurer\, Mission Director and Assistant General of the Fathers of Mercy during his priesthood. He has served as a full-time parish mission preacher and retreat master (2000-2018)\, and as pastor of St. Helen’s Parish\, Glasgow\, Kentucky\, and its mission church\, Our Lady of the Caves in Horse Cave\, Kentucky (2018-2022). Currently\, he is again serving as a full-time parish mission preacher and retreat master. \nThe Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy was founded in 1808\, originally under the title of the “Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the French people after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now an exclusively American community. The Generalate of the community is located a few miles outside of Bowling Green\, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats\, which are now given throughout the United States\, Canada and Australia. \nDuring this “Servants of the Secret Fire” retreat\, Fr. This study is created especially for those who have been impacted by the divorce or separation of their parents and are seeking a space for reflection\, healing\, and hope. \nOur gatherings will meet from 7:30pm-9pm and will be gently facilitated to curate a space of safety\, confidentiality\, and respect. Together\, we will read and reflect on the book\, share at our own comfort level\, and explore how God can bring healing and life even from painful family experiences. No one will ever be required to speak—listening is always a full form of participation. \nThis is not a therapy group\, but a faith-based\, relational space grounded in compassion\, prayer\, and honest conversation. The goal is to foster connection\, name wounds that often go unseen\, and support one another as we move toward greater wholeness. \nThis book study will be facilitated by Fr.
