What the Church Actually Teaches
about Sex & the Body
A Primer on Theology of the Body
This 2-hour investment of your time will provide and excellent introduction to what the Catholic Church actually teaches about human sexuality, the body, and our creation in the image of God, male and female.
Our culture today is saturated in sexual confusion. People of all ages are desperately seeking happiness and whether they realize it or not, they long for what is good, true, and beautiful. But the noise, the lies, and the chaos lead us to all the wrong places and ways of thinking.
Theology of the Body I:
Introduction
This course will provide an excellent introduction to Theology of the Body and a solid understanding of God’s plan for humanity.
What does it mean to be made human, male and female, in the image and likeness of God?
How can I live my life in a way that brings happiness and fulfillment?
For Every Body who desires to reach his or her full potential in this life and become Fully Alive!
Theology of the Body II:
Into the Heart
This 8-part series will move you deeper into the life-changing message of Theology of the Body, enabling you to apply and integrate these teachings into every aspect of your life.
Receive the tools necessary to develop the sacramental worldview so crucial to living an authentic human sexuality.
Learn what saints and mystics alike have always known: a life of ecstasy and deep union with God is not only possible—it is actually a lot closer than you think.
Youth & Families
Discover the Adventure God made for you! This eight-session course for teens and their parents explores the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the story of Salvation from Wonder to Wisdom.
Using highly interactive skits and activities, the goal of Explore is to allow parents to spend time with their teens in a fun environment to spur more conversation at home. Marriage and family topics are built in to provide a foundation for parents upon which to build.
Life can be messy, and relationships can feel like natural disasters. Yet there is hope!
Victory is a powerful process for students each year to learn how to transform their natural disasters into supernatural victories. Relationships, dating, marriage, and sexuality are all gifts from God that are meant to bring us true joy and happiness.
This 4-day program each year covers relevant topics for students about family, friendship, love, and responsibility.
This 2-day event is designed to re-animate families to live in the real world by setting aside the screens of entertainment, distraction, and “virtual” reality.
Moving through the three pillars of the Theology of the Body in our Identity, our Purpose, and our Lifestyle, Animate is a highly interactive experience meant to be presented to a room of 50-100 parents and their middle or high school teens.
Adult Formation
If you have ever felt like life is a confusing or chaotic nightmare, it’s time to awaken to discover your story. The Holy Spirit, just like in the beginning, is hovering over the chaos of our weary souls to bring order, beauty, and goodness.
Awaken is a day of reflection for adults to spend time pondering the gift of God’s creation. God made me and all that is. He made me for a purpose, and He wants to show me my purpose. Will you let Him?
God wants us to be fully alive, and sometimes that means He needs to maximize His impact in our lives.
This is an all-inclusive 6-day Discipleship Retreat Course with 30-Hours of Course Material and a comprehensive study guide immersed in God’s creation with time for hiking, praying, and fellowship. Held at Mt. St. Francis Retreat Center each summer, Maximize breaks open the Theology of the Body with the help of the Holy Spirit, Holy Scripture, and our beloved Holy Father, St. John Paul the Great.
Becoming a witness of hope like John Paul II is a long process of following Jesus with others. Only true pioneers will walk this long path of discipleship, conversion, and encounter.
These small group cohorts are offered each year to build community between teachers, adults, and young adults while systematically working through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Story of Salvation, and JPII’s Theology of the Body. Join a cohort, and be not afraid.
