Catholic Couples Network is a ministry of Family Renewal Project, supporting couples by providing community, spiritual formation, and fertility resources.

guest speakers, game nights, fellowship,
and an annual family fun event.

Deacon Dr. Scott Hedges was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in August of 2020, only 8 years after he completed RCIA and entered into full communion with the Catholic Church (surprisingly, during his college years he had no faith at all). His wife, Beth is a member of Highland Baptist Church and they have been married 31 years; they have two sons. Deacon Hedges is assigned as a Deacon at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church where he leads small study groups, serves the Latin Mass, and more.
Deacon Dr. Hedges’ is a licensed psychiatrist and is employed as the chief medical officer for Seven Counties Services. He is also a member of the Clinical Faculty with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Louisville School of Medicine (his alma mater), and serves as a consulting psychiatrist for Saint Luke Center. Deacon Hedges is a Secular Carmelite and a member of the Secular Order Discalced Carmelites Community of the Holy Spirit.
