Preparation for Total Consecration Start Date

November 5

Please watch this short intro video to learn more!

Invitation
For quite some time, the Family Renewal Project Leadership Team has discerned an invitation for our entire Team to unite in consecrating (or reconsecrating) ourselves and specifically the Apostolate of FRP to Mary. As plans were coming together for our Fully Alive banquet (which providentially falls on the Feast of our Patron, Saint John Paul II — whose papal motto was Totus Tuus “Totally Yours” Mary) the discernment escalated and it became clear that now is the time! But not just for our Team … for individuals, couples and families throughout the archdiocese … now is the time!

In solidarity the FRP Team will begin the 33 days of preparation on Tuesday, November 5 and our Date of Consecration will be Sunday, December 8 — the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. We hope you will join us in this amazing journey, however, a (re)consecration can be made/started on any day!

What’s Involved?
Your level of involvement is up to you!

  • You can also choose to watch a daily video produced by Gabriel Costillo that corresponds to the Maximilian Kolbe booklet. Gabe is a young husband, father, and youth minister in Texas who is devoted to spreading the beauty and power of Marian devotion.
  • You can proceed through the days of preparation and make your consecration completely on your own or with a friend, spouse, family, prayer/bible study group, etc. You can form your own group. OR you can join the FRP Team and/or others from throughout the area for weekly prayer and discussion — see options and dates below.

Benefits
Consecrating yourself to Jesus through Mary is the quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness and will yield many spiritual graces.

Need accountability to make it through a 33-day commitment? Gather with others on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

Already consecrated to the Blessed Mother and want to renew your Consecration? Now is the time!

In our hectic day and time, Saint Pope John Paul II, Saint Louis deMontfort, Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Saint Mother Teresa, Saint Josemaría Escrivá, Venerable Fulton Sheen and others, knew that the quickest way to be transformed into a saint is to encounter Jesus through a relationship with Our Blessed Mother, Mary. If you’re looking for a simple way to be spiritually renewed, develop a deeper relationship with Our Merciful Savior, and grow in holiness, join us for a Consecration to Jesus through Mary.

If you go through the days of preparation with others, you will be strengthened and encouraged along the way by their faith and witness, have the opportunity to be a witness to others, develop new friendships, and build the local Catholic community.

Materials (Booklets and Optional Videos)
There are a wide variety of Consecration methods/books available. FRP has chosen this version according to Saint Maximilian Kolbe. It is very good, not complicated, doesn’t take much time, AND every day has an accompanying video (if you choose to use them).

If you don’t already have the booklet, you can order it HERE , or FRP has booklets available for a donation while supplies last. Books can be picked up on Saturday, November 2 at Saint John Paul II Catholic Church or other arrangements can be made.

Access daily videos produced by Gabriel Castillo HERE.
