Pre-requisite: Intro to Theology of the Body: TOB1 or equivalent [This can include online courses from other instructors, books you’ve read, etc. If you’re not sure, just ask.]
*The courses offered by Family Renewal Project will not fulfill any requirements for the Certification Program offered through the TOB Institute.
This 8-part series on Wednesday evenings will move you deeper into the life-changing message of Theology of the Body, enabling you to apply and integrate these teachings into every aspect of your life. The FRP instructors will use the DVD series from Ascension Press entitled, Into the Heart. This is actually a 16-part study that we have condensed into 8 sessions
Receive the tools necessary to develop the sacramental worldview so crucial to living an authentic human sexuality. Learn what saints and mystics alike have always known: a life of ecstasy and deep union with God is not only possible—it is actually a lot closer than you think. This study is for every “body” who desires to reach his or her full potential in this life and become Fully Alive.

In-Person is always best, but if you can’t attend in-person or live a great distance from Louisville, complete the registration form below to receive an exclusive post-event link of the video-recorded presentations. [Each of the eight sessions will be recorded live using multiple camera angles to create the best recording possible. Because both men on our video production team are expecting their wives to deliver babies during this timeframe, videos will be released on a yet to be determined date, and we anticipate releasing them during the month of November.] All who register to attend in-person will also receive the post-event video links.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS:
John Sohl
FRP Director of Discipleship
John is a graduate of Western Kentucky University who loves hunting, fishing, hiking, theater, videography and playing baseball.
After discerning the call to the priesthood, John transitioned from seminary to the role of discipleship leader in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Some may say “youth minister,” but after five years of dedication to youth, John realized that developing disciples was the ultimate goal.
John has attended & led pilgrimages to the last 5 World Youth Days: Madrid, Spain; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Kraków, Poland; Panama City, Panamá and he and his wife attended WYD in Lisbon, Portugal in 2023.
For over six years, John served as the only male chastity instructor in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Every school year he & one of his female counterparts would teach a multi-day course at over 40 schools (Catholic, private, and public).
John is the first and currently the only person in the Archdiocese of Louisville to have completed his Master’s Certification in Theology of the Body from the TOB Institute … a major accomplishment!
John married his wonderful wife, Crystal in October of 2019. Together they strive to understand, embrace and live Theology of the Body! After many years of struggling with infertility, they are expecting their first child in late September.

Justin Leiner
FRP Classroom Presenter & Content Specialist
Justin was born & raised in the great state of Alaska! He enjoys swing dancing and rock climbing and is a generous self-giver (he donated one of his kidneys to a total stranger)!
Justin has a degree in Theology from St. John’s University (Collegeville, MN) and is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology from Divine Mercy University. After graduating from college he served as a FOCUS missionary for three years at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Justin has completed the 8 required masters level courses at the Theology of the Body Institute in pursuit of his Certification in Theology of the Body. He now has to design & complete a practicum and will join his fellow FRP teammate, John Sohl, as the 2nd person in the Archdiocese of Louisville with this credential.
In his role as Classroom Presenter, he gives presentations on the dignity of the human person and ‘healthy relationships’ to middle & high school students in over 40 classrooms throughout KYANA.
Justin is a great witness to and passionate about the Catholic faith; he is committed to helping others understand, embrace, and live their dignity and infinite potential.
